DescriptionI don't think I have to tell anyone how significant Batman Year One was. Of course there is also no original art in the market so this vintage sketch (even though it is tiny) is truly special. I even briefly considered changing my name to Brian! :)It's also very similar to a cover, so I want to tell myself that it was a cover prelim/or study instead of a simple sketch :) Here is a link to the cover stat with a similar image in Mike Bair's gallery- click here to see. Awesome. You know, I'm not normally one for touch ups and restoration, buttwo or three additional marker strokes and "Brian" could be very easily made to look like "Malvin."
