Excellent piece -- now this is what I call using black to set the mood. JPL is an fantastic artist and this is one of my personal favorite Batman pieces you have.

I don't recall seeing Leon's work before, but it reminds me of Gene Colan, which is a pretty big compliment.

I saw him work on this while at the Con and as an artist myself, I was in speechless. He blows away most of the competition. There was a natural execution that only comes from years of experience. I would be honored to have such a piece in my collection.

JPL's art is incredible- I'd love to see him illustrate a Batman run! The use of heavy black here is perfect. I love seeing Batman as a dark and dangerous figure- a creature of the night!
