Description

This was done at a fundraising event, Artists for Japan at Revival Nightclub in Toronto on April 18th, 2011 with proceeds going to the Red Cross designated as relief funds for Japan. Stuart Immonen made an appearance at the event and was sketching to raise money. If you're a fan of Stuart's or go to conventions, then you'll know that if and when Stuart Immonen sketches, it is a rare opportunity to be a part of and that such chances are few and far between. I've been a fan of his ever since I read Superman: Secret Identity and have been following his work at Marvel over the last five years. Getting a piece of art from him was and is a significant addition to my sketch collection. A truly nice guy, and I understand every single reasons as to why he would rather not sketch at a show. I feel extremely lucky to be able to have a Cap sketch from him in my collection. Thanks Stuart!

Thanks Dan. I'm amazed how other CGC board members can look over this particular sketch and not comment on how rare it is too. It seems only those who go after a lot of sketches from artists understand how rare just some sketches are.
