Adams put in everything and then some on this series. There is a spirit and poignancy to this work which showed how he had to overcome struggles to break into the business and to just get this first issue under his belt. It is a fantasitc sight to see the belief and actualization on these pages. This legendary artwork would make him a fan favorite that could sell a book just on his name alone.

I am always amazed by the amount of work Adams puts on every page. Great page from a favorite mini that I absolutely loved when I was younger. Great get and Congrats! Thanks for sharing!

- Adams' early work (Longshot, NM Special Edition and XM Annual 9) remain unsurpassed in his body of work, IMHO. Kudos also to Portacio's great inks on this page.

I was an instant Art Adams fan after this series - bought anything where he drew the cover and interior (if I was aware). His style and details were so fresh and appealing. Major congrats - thanks for sharing!

Early and raw stuff from two future superstars. You can really see what was to come from these two hungry, young, talents. That middle panel is really striking. Great page from the premier issue. Congrats my friend.

Jaw-droppingly cool page from the early days of Art Adams' career. Love this page with Longshot and Spiral! Those three center panels rock my world. Portacio's inks are spot on throughout! Phenomenal pick-up!
