Description

Dave Stokes maintains a high level of quality in all of his work, and each time I have seen him tackle a Daredevil composition, the results are both unique and memorable. In my humble opinion, this rendition of Ol' Hornhead is no different. Love the Hell's Kitchen Cityscape, complete with rooftop water towers and The Fisk building looming in the background. The whole piece has a very uplifting feel to it, eliciting a an iconic transcendent aspect to DD's persona. Great work, Dave! Not familiar with Mr. Stokes, but I really like this! Has very much of a Neal Adams flavor to me.
