Description

Wow! I've been coveting this particular piece for awhile now, and I was finally able to entice it away from Pastor Scott and add it to my collection. This wonderful commission has an intriguing and circuitous backstory, but for the sake of brevity, I'll just say that the net effect is a truly cover-worthy homage to three of my favorite characters. Yvel's dynamic layout and faithful characterizations are equally matched by Joe's rather masterful inkwash effects, resulting in a near-perfect synergy. Thanks, Scott, for letting this one go, and thanks also to Joe and Yvel for creating such an impressive work of art.

Terrific piece of artwork featuring DD and two of his BEST ensemble characters. Joe's ink washes definately elevate this piece to cover worthiness! CONGRATULATIONS !!!!

Hmmm, It looks like theres some broken glass at the top left and I wouldn't want you to get hurt. Maybe you should just send that over to me for safe keeping .....;P Another Awesome piece Matt! Very Cool!

I love how DD's legs lead your eyes up to the perfectly-in-perspective tower. Gives the piece so much depth and motion. Amazing!
