Awesome sketch. BTW, Mike Wieringo DID take on Superman with his run on ''Adventures Of Superman' (with Joe Casey as a writer).

Mike told me once he never got a handle on his version of the man of steel. He never seemed to draw him the same way twice, thing is, every one he did was great and he never realized it.

makes me want to salute, as if he were an American flag or something...very few artists have actually accomplished that..a terrific artist and, from everything I have heard, a great person. He will be missed for years to come
