Here�s another reason why this list is just full of kind generous people. While knowing Miki Annamanthadoo from the list and exchanging a few emails with him about his remarkable Legion and Supergirl collections. I had never had the pleasure of meeting Miki until the 2007 Baltimore convention. Miki was among a number of people who had the pleasure of joining Barry Kitson for dinner that Saturday night and it was a remarkable night with stories being exchanged around the table and collecting habits explained and dissected.

One of the things that came up was how supportive my then fianc� was of my hobby and how she had been sucked into it in a small manner herself. Amy has become a big Black Canary fan. It started with the animated series and most recently the cover to the wedding special was her screen saver at work. I think our impending nuptials had something to do with the selection.

That said one December eve on the doorstep of Casa Dunne was a familiar sized package which left me a bit surprised, the financial responsibilities of marriage recently have pushed me out of the hobby for the time being. I opened it up and there was a lovely note from Miki with a page of art as a gift for Amy and myself.

As you can see it is a page detailing Dinah�s evolution into Black Canary. Amy is thrilled and I am so grateful to Miki for his generosity to a couple that he met one night in Baltimore and thought enough of to gift us in a most thoughtful manner.
