Description

Wolverine Bloodlust made a HUGE impression on me as a teenager.

The prestige format was luxurious, the story was very nice with Wolvie hunting and succumbing to his feral side. The colors were different from what we were used to at the time, warm and lush. The violence was perhaps a bit more mature as well for a Marvel book.

But more than that, Alan Davis' art was on another level, with exceptional storytelling displayed. I mean, Davis is a fantastic storyteller per definition but this project really stood out for me.
The inks by Paul Neary superbly complimented Davis’ pencils as always.

Here we basically have a great fight scene with Wolvie leaping in an impressive fashion in the fight and rapidly being swamped by his opponents.

Pages from this book are quite difficult to come by so I'm very pleased to own one, even more so with 4 panels of Wolvie out of 5.

Those of you who have seen such pages also know that they are oversized which is a nice bonus.

Very pleased to own a page of a Landmark story from my teenage years :)
