Description

I had fun doing this one. Our fellow comicartfan Matt West asked me for this one. I've, at lease, half a dozen Daredevils for Matt. He asked me to draw DD in a bar with a character of my choice. I took the cheap and easy way out and chose The Klaw, the villain to the golden age DD. As I looked for Klaw ref, i ran across some odd characters on other Lev Gleason covers. So, the bar filled up.

I filled the bar with Yankees detail. DD lives in Hell's Kitchen. Matt is a red sox fan. He digs the piece, but admitted all the Yankee stuff hurt his beantown peepers. I told him if he wanted a sox bar he needs to commission a Battle Potato or Fightin' Mic drawing. Battle Potato copyright & TM John Lucas
