Description

This very sweet Side Glances panel from 9/17/42, features a teacher surrounded by her adorable charges. The teacher exclaims, "As future citizens, we must think every day about the great tasks we face in readjusting this world after the war!" Boy, that's not a lot to put on a bunch of third graders, is it? I love the thoughtful looks (or are they just bored) on the childrens' faces. Beautiful brushwork and shading.
