I believe this illo was published in the French edition Comics and Stories (1986) - definitely early Darrow work. Soooo cool!!

Yes, the inked version of this wonderful drawing appears on the final page before the end papers of the 1986 hardback Comics and Stories. Great stuff!

I love art (and artists) that really compel you to take a long hard look and really study the piece. Darrow is one of those guys. His work is not something you can just glance at and move on. His drawings have so much going on and you just keep finding cool stuff the more you look. That's the best kind of art, if you ask me.

Killer Darrow collectionTom! I like this one a lot, I think Geof Darrow was brilliant right from the beginning of his comic career and this shows it.
