Here are 2 pieces which pay a homage to the ALL POWERFUL X MEN #94 (which Bob McLeod inked over Cockrum); here's the last appearance of Polaris in her "Green Goddess" costume before the Sh'iar costume in '97 (I always liked THIS-Goddess costume best)
