This cover really takes me back to that brief shining moment when Tarzan became my favorite book, too. Kubert's work wasn't as smooth as most of the artists I was used to (Adams, Giordano, Swan, Anderson, Kane, Romita; etc.) so I had to look at it and study it. I wasn't sure, did I like this? Well, yeah, I concluded, I liked it a lot.

A very cool and very Kubert cover. Great composition and action by someone who really understood comics and how to use ink.
