My Christmas 2007 present to myself. I have always wanted a piece of art by Joe Kubert and feel very fortunate to acquire this incredible sketch. Too bad he didn't go for the idea of putting Coda in the tree. LOL! Totally kidding there, I didn't actually ask this time. ;)

Oh man, I'm so jealous! I asked for a Tarzan as well...hope mine (if Joe decides to do it) comes out as nice!!

Congratulations, Shawn! You so deserve this treat. I know you have been a good boy all year long. I am very impressed with what Joe Kubert has been doing with white ink on this series of commissions. He really makes the most of his line work. This is so nice!

Kubert's Tarzan was one of the true highlights of the 1970's. I wish I had been as good as you to get a "present" like this (I had to settle for a new skiing suit).
