Description

I don't pick up much work by contemporary comic book guys, but when I saw this Samurai Jack background drawings by Paul Rivoche, I was smitten. There's a Kirbyesque quality to the pieces, with the heavy use of line and spotted blacks. I also really dig the differing perspectives in each image. Horizon up/down, vanishing point left/right. Very cool stuff.
