Description

You may have heard the story of Jack Kirby's encounter with ex-Beatle Paul McCartney in the summer of '76. What you may not know is that according to writer Mark Evanier it was Kirby family friend Gary Sherman who was mainly instrumental in arranging that meeting at the L.A. Forum.

This is a photo of Paul, his wife Linda, and Gary snapped on that day. McCartney is seen holding the Magneto pencil that Jack drew for him. It's attached here.

Gary�worked�in�the�tv�business.�Unfortunately,�he�left�us�too�soon�in�2009.

My�thanks�to�Gary's�brother,�Steve�Sherman,�for�sharing�this�previously unseen�photo.
