Most Kirby fans have seen the color concept art for the New Gods #1 cvr. What many don't know is that the artist lighboxed another black + white version circa 1970. It was used as a pitch piece for the New Gods series.

Provenance on Jack Kirby's personal stationary from grandson Jeremy Kirby.

Thanks for posting Jeremy. That's true. This version is Kirby pencils + inks. My understanding is the original color concept art is credited as Kirby pencils, Frank Giacoia inks, and Kirby colors.
