DescriptionStated with tongue in cheek exaggeration as "The World's Greatest Comic Magazine," the Fantastic Four became Marvel's flagship title in the 1960's.A desperate Mr. Fantastic changes the recently humanized Ben Grimm back to his monstrous form in order to defeat Dr. Doom. An enraged Thing displaces his anger at the decision by almost murdering the villain with his bare hands. "The Battle of the Baxter Building" presented the very first Thing/Dr. Doom hand to hand fight and in 2014 made the list of the 75 Most Memorable Moments in Marvel Comics History. Daredevil also guest stars...a recent newcomer to the MCU and the first disabled hero to star in his own Marvel series. This is the earliest surviving published F.F. cover art known to exist. The covers for issues #1-#39 are presumed lost. Social/Sharing |
