DescriptionThis is simply a beautiful example of Art Adams from the very early 1990's when so many of us fell in love with his work. This Thor vs Loki trading card artwork is from the 1991 Marvel Universe Series II series, and is done on craftint board. I've always admired this particular image, and after all the Thor and Loki shenanigans I've done with The Dueling Dealers of Comic Art I can't think of a better artwork to add to my collection. Classic AA goodness! Like that it's so clearly AA's work from the time. Also dig the expressions on both characters, and the lighting effect is great. Congrats, Bill!

What a stunning example of Art's work! He's playing with his hatching to give the light source a more organic look, and I love the real struggle on their faces. Extra bonus is the full Kirby treatment on Loki. Congrats!

I dig that Mjolnir is the focal point, as it should be. Man, Adams is just a master at packing in detail. 9x5 and he loads on the detail like it's a splash. And all that crosshatching. Love it. Great score, Bill. Congrats!
