i got this done in my sketchbook at the Boston comiccon
i think it is defintly one of the best war machine
sketches i have seen. while Paul was sketching he started joking telling me "Will, you are the first and the last person i am going to draw war machine for"
especially since it was his first time drawing war machine.

i think he is an exceptional artist and a really nice guy.
next time i saw him (nov 2 2008) he told me that he remembered drawing war machine for me because it still gave him nightmares.

One of the very first artists I ever commissioned was Paul Ryan. An exceptional and very underrated artist, and I see here he hasn't missed a beat. Great piece.
