I asked John Romita Jr. about this pin-up at Wizard World Philly 2007. He didn't remember what this was for but he but he did remember doing this. This is one example of him doing his own inking which doesn't happen very often.

Thank you to Tiso Spencer who sent me the following information:
This piece is from the comic "Dream Team", page 15, titled "Prototype/Spider-Man". It was a collection of pin-ups that depicted Malibu's Ultraverse and Marvel's characters together.

Awesome piece although it's Prototype from the Ultraverse and not Hardcase that's next to Spider-Man.

This was for a pin-up book called "Dream Teams", which was pretty much Ultraverse and Marvel characters, with some other Indy characters thrown in. Cool piece!
