Can't beat this! Wrightson... Superman... a cover. Very cool! This is the cover for the recently released (cover date March 2009) Superman/Batman Annual #3. The cover featured Bernie's take on the 1960's character, Composite Superman. The inside of the book... Batista and Gray. Not the same stuff. I'd love to see more of Bernie's art!!!

I'll admit I can sometimes be a little snobbish about Wrightson art that's not vintage, but for newer Wrightson, this is truly spectacular! What I really, really love are those hands! And yes, everyone on CAF knows about my hand fetish by now! LOL! Congrats on this beauty Wally!
