Description

In 1982 I sent away for the Dubroom Special on VHS (pictured below) and watched the sh*t out of it for years. In 2005 I got the DVD and watch the sh*t out of it again. Then the soundtrack CD a year or two later. Today I got the original cover painting. The circle is complete

Glad you got that piece! I have that vhs in the plain box too! Gail commissioned that painting.
I obviously worked from screen shots from the movie, I think I combined a couple different ones w face/hand positions that I liked.

I wrote a letter to Gail inviting her to my first show ever, which was in LA in 1996. I forgot all about it and assumed she wouldn�t show up, but she was there at the opening with Dweezil, and she ended up basically giving me my first major sale. she invited me and my brother over to the house the next day, and we spent many hours there. I think I met all of the other kids that day.

I�m glad the Dub Room piece is with a true fan!
