Description

As a child and an official collector of Spider-man and Marvel Comics, one of my favorite things to do was to look at the ads for other comics for sale that month, or upcoming soon. I was awestruck when I happened on the cover to ASM #12. This cover to me was Ditko at his finest. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book to find out how Peter Parker would handle his secret identity being exposed. I finally snagged a copy of this issue from Richard Alf in San Diego for $5. To this day, it is still one of my favorite Spider-Man issues, and I am super thankful to own a page of the art from this issue!

I love Steve Ditkos early work, But the two that hold a place in my heart is Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. Not only is this an early Ditko Spider-Man page but everyone of these panels is awesome.

Always a great moment as a collector when you can pick up a page from a meaningful to you issue. As simple as that last panel looks there's something about the composition that is so eye-catching. Great pick up!
