Description

My number one sketch target for this con was Art Adams so I made sure to get there as soon as they opened the door and was first in line to get one. I debated whether or not to ask for Usagi. When he said, "You want a WHAT?" I figured I may have made the wrong choice. Granted it's still very interesting and it's an ART ADAMS but based on the incredibly detailed pieces my buddies got, I totally should've gone with a character he knew.

Some artists get really excited when you ask for a character they're not used to drawing. I don't know if Adams is one of them; but I always get a kick out of an artist getting excited about a surprise commission.

While I totally understand your regret in not getting a classic detailed Art Adams piece, you did get a truly unique take of Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo. Congrats.
