DescriptionNow here is art that can hang proudly in anyone's home or museum. Gorgeous...the picture does not do the original justice the original is simply luminous! . . . I've had this masterpiece a while now and I like it better every year...has become one of my favorite Jones oils so happy to be watching over it. Image area is 27" x 21" so a nice size but not one of his huge paintings.BTW, this was used as card #75 in 1993 FPG Jeffrey Jones fantasy art card set Feb 7, 2021 - I didn't realize how poor the previous picture was so took a quick photo of the art framed that I feel is still not fully reflective but is better than the old upload Dec 19, 2025 - Added color pictures of Jeff's Studio in additional images Social/Sharing |

What a gorgeous work of art. This image of a native man, clad only in a loin cloth and an arm band, drinking with cupped hands from a puddle in the earth is strangely moving. I find myself wondering who he is, where he's coming from, is he in danger, so many questions. I've always admired Jones' black and white art but I haven't seen much color work. I will have to remedy that. Stunning pick-up, congrats!
