DescriptionAnother rare instance where I immediately bought a page without even reading the comic book. Of course, once you take a look at this page, you can totally see why. Jim Cheung's art is Amazing! Great representative page with lots of key characters: Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Woman, Venom, Ares and others I don't recognize! The full wolverine figure on this page also compliments the Jim Cheung Wolverine Sketch I have in my collection - here is a link Social/Sharing |

great pick up! I was so so close to picking this one up myself its a terrific page. Jim's art was top notch all the way through on this issue and this page was one of the best examples of his great sense of design and layout.

Sweet piece Malvin. One of the things that often goes overlooked with Jim Cheung's art is the fact that he has an astounding sense of graphic design and layout. One of the remarkable things about the 2009 Avengers FCBD was the fact that so much story was incorporated into so few pages. Because Jim knows how to set up a page (sequentially and as part of a book) as well as draw with such amazing detail and accuracy, Jim was able to work several splashy pages into the book without affecting the rest of the book. This page is a beautiful example of a nice splashy page with exemplary storytelling. Congratulations on a great pick up!
