Description

What more can I say about the great Al Severin? The guy is simply a tremendous talent, and an absolutely wonderful figural artist. This painting was done as a commission piece. Al took the idea of the old Tintin in America book, and reinterpreted it as a cover piece, complete with original hand-lettering. He told me that he wanted to incorporate the flavor of Herge's early style in the piece, and I think he simply hit it out of the park. Just a gorgeous piece in person.

Stuart Ng has started carrying Al's books, imported from Belgium. Do yourself a favor and check out his wonderful work. You won't be sorry.

I am stunned. That is such a beautiful piece and I know how greats those colors must be in person. A true treasure.
