Description

Ambassadors follows characters from six different countries, who live in a world where a Korean billionaire scientist has cracked the code to create superhumans. This scientist announces she will turn six ordinary people into enhanced beings which sparks a global competition to be chosen.

Creator Mark Millar said his aim was to develop the property for a future Netflix cinematic release with an international audience in mind.

Millar told the Hollywood Reporter "The domestic audience is usually the main consideration for an American studio...but I'm just as excited by Korea, India, Brazil, Mexico, Australia and France. It's also exciting for Netflix as these are all growth markets."

Artists included Frank Quitely, Travis Charest, Olivier Coipel, Matteo Scalera, Matteo Buffagni, and Karl Kerschl. Each artist drew one installment of the series.

Presented here are 3 consecutive pgs. from the Travis issue which takes place in Paris, France. Charest said these were the only pages in the story he drew on physical board b/c at the time he didn't have his laptop available. All others are digitally produced.

Cue Top Gun Maverick to bomb this scientist and her lab before she creates superpowered beings that threaten to upset the balance of world power! A return to interior comic work by Charest is a big deal!
