Description

The magical characters playable in “Mage the Ascension” can affect reality after their mysterious alter-egos called Avatars are awakened. Characters are designed with the choice of Supernatural Merits and Flaws. This piece illustrated the Avatar Companion merit whereby mages and their Avatars are linked to chosen companions with their own Avatars. Both enter the cycle of reincarnation together and the companion frequently retains memories of their past lives. If you’ve read Michael Moorcock, think Corum and Jhary-a-Conel.
