DescriptionYears ago (1997?), Neal Adams showed up at the Orlando MegaCon and the big news was that he was actually willing to do sketches for people, but you had to wait in line and entertain him while he drew. The cost was $100 plus your time and conversation. $100 was a lot for a sketch back then, and usually you got pretty much a very finished single character illustration from most artists. So I was a bit disappointed when Neal stopped drawing, handed my sketchbook to me, and said "there you go". Check out that pinky finger! This was the kinda thing you got for free from most artists. But anyhow, I guess nowadays nothing beats a good story and a laugh. It's a nice pose and very spontaneous drawing from Neal which goes to show how talented he is.Social/Sharing |

You're right. It's a good sketch and a good story. I'd rather have this creativity than most of the current sharpie facial sketches he likes to do now. Enjoy.
