Description

Not too many fans seem to remember the heroes of Continuity Comics. I think their comics actually looked better than they read, because of the strong influence of company owner Neal Adams. Still, I think some memorable characters were created there. One of them is Valeria the She-Bat, whose short-lived title was drawn by Adams himself.

She's depicted here as penciled and inked by Mark D. Bright, who did this piece for me in 2003. Mark may be best known for the work he did on IRON MAN (during the ARMOR WARS storyline). He was also the acclaimed artist on Valiant/Acclaim's QUANTUM AND WOODY and Milestone's ICON.

A great Neal Adams creation if ever there was one...nice piece by Mark.

Just came across this one while doing some research. I'd forgotten about this one. Mark's a really under-appreciated artist. I'm hoping he gets tapped for Q&W with the new Valiant relaunch.
