Description

I really wanted something different and distinctive as my first true commission from Tim Sale. Tim had never heard of the character, but something in the cover examples I sent him caught his eye and he offered to give it a try. I think he came up with something darn near perfect and I could not be happier. The first of many, I hope. The feeling you get when you first hold the finished product is instantly addictive. In a good way. Obtained at the Emerald City Comic Con, May 11, 2008. UPDATE: This commission was used as a special incentive cover on Dynamite's "Black Terror #1" in November of 2008. Awesome!

I wish more people would ask Tim to draw off-the-beaten path characters like the Black Terror. What a terrific result!
