DescriptionI remember buying this DD issue off the racks and wondering why the heck was a 5 page Starlin story on Moondragon & Thanos inserted into the middle of this issue?I was already a Starlin fan at that time, so it was a treat to get a couple of extra Starlin story pages. Now to add one of these 5 Starlin pages, and a page with nice Moondragon images and an early Thanos appearance is really a highlight! This issue has a cover date of Nov 1973, which is the same cover date as Captain Marvel #29. According to the CM #29 letters page, the Moondragon origin story was originally intended for an issue of Iron Man. Starlin did a little bit of work on IM #53 and then of course the classic IM #55, so perhaps this was intended to be used in IM #54 where IM and Subby battle, and Madame MacEvil (Moondragon) also has an appearance. It was my pleasure letting go of this Awesome page. It has found its rightful home. I will miss it but I know it is forever in great hands. It is a early masterpiece by Jim.

Wow, this page is most excellent! I love the Thanos image, as well as the Moondragon image at the bottom. Don Perlin did a fine job of inking Starlin here. Big congrats Dave!

Man, those Perlin inks bring out the Best in this page, Especially that last MD image! Pure Goodness!!! (Brauny, What A Piece of Art!!!!! I know you will not sell. However, I really would love to acquire this in the FarFlung Future. I am a Huge MoonDragon Fan! As usual, please keep me in mind!)
