Not a punch thrown, but the emotional blow is devastating. Starlin and Leialoha keep us in suspense all through this soliloquy with great graphic design in every panel.

I think Leialoha has always been a great inker on anyone and a great artist on his own.

Starlin gave us theatrical storytelling as the director of his cosmic Shakespearean tragedy. Everything is brilliantly staged on the page, and I particularly love how he uses a spotlight effect in panel 6.

Yes, agreed - great artistic pairing. This is a classic, angst-ridden sequence, with some backstory thrown in. Nice page!
