DescriptionEd Tadeo from Jiggy's Next Comic Art crew is an incredibly talented artist! I got a Red Sonja mystery sketch from him in the past, and I was blown away by it, so I've been looking at more pieces by him. Jiggy showed this one during one of his shows with Bill, and I had to pull the trigger. I love the way Ed rendered Wonder Woman, with just enough background to set the stage, but not too much that it distracts from the main figure... Wonder Woman at her best, plus she's holding a shield just like Cap!Social/Sharing |

I really like that broken column in the ruins and it's heavy textures. It's there by Ed to symbolically show strength through thousands of years and it's no coincidence that Wonder Woman is still standing there in front of it.

Absolutely stunning Wonder Woman commission by Edgar Tadeo! Love Edgar's drawing of the Amazonian Princess--He gives her a strong pose and a steely, unafraid look in her eyes. I love the way he positioned her in front of an ancient column, which symbolizes something that has lasted for a millennium. It endures, as she will endure. I love Edgar's strong linework and I like the contrast in the way he used ink washes on the background objects but kept the drawing of WW in just line. Fabulous pick-up, Alberto, congrats!

It's a lovely looking Wonder Woman portrayal indeed. Was it immediately obvious that it had some water damage on it before you made the move to buy it? It's a shame, but at least it doesn't really affect most of the art.

Good eye as always, my friend... yeah the top left of the piece seems to have gotten some water damage... maybe from the ink or what not!
