I love how the black parts of the costume disappear into the darkness of the background. An iconic style layout made even better by Bucky's appearance from a great issue which paid respect to his sacrifice.

With a cover date of December 2001, this image would have meant a lot to a lot of people who renewed their resolve and love of country.
