Description

What an amazing cover that I remember fondly from my childhood and I was able to add to my collection!! This book came out when I was 13 years old and reading as many comic books as I could. I love the split design of the cover, showing the Captain (Steve Rogers) surrendering to The Commission, while Captain America (John Walker) turns himself to The Watchdogs, who had kidnapped his parents after his secret identify had been revealed! I love the way Milgrom inked over Frenz, plus it fills a big hole in my collection as I didn't have any Frenz covers!

Fantastic Frenz cover, rea nice inks by Milgrom too. Love all the detailed figure work in the background and the flag, pretty bold main image as well. great start to 2025, congrats!

I'll take some half and half for my coffee, please! A very memorable cover I'm very fond of, as it's part of the very long running Mark Gruenwald run on the title which made it one of the absolute most fun Marvel titles of the 1980's! Congrats, I hope your vacation in Hawaii was great!

High school study halls were where I routinely swapped books around for the titles I wasn't buying regularly, including Cap. Congrats Alberto, makes me think of those days of yore.

Very interesting cover. I don't think I've ever seen a Captain America cover split in two quite like this one, with half being Captain America (John Walker) surrendering to the Watchdos and the other half being the Captain (Steve Rogers) surrendering to the Commission. Two stories linked in one scene. It's a very unique design for a cover. And it's certainly handsomely rendered by the amazing Ron Franz and beautifully inked by Al Milgrom. I love it when artist finds new ways to lay out a page or cover. Great pick-up, congrats!
