Description

1980, San Diego Con. Photo taken during a panel discussion. One could see that Woody wasn´t well but he did not disappoint his fans and drew a shaky Snorky, which he forgot to sign. It was later auctioned off with The King's Thing among others. I asked Wallace Wood to sign my copy of The Wizard King, and his eyes lighted up, telling me that it was the work he was most proud of. I was wise enough to not mention his EC work.
