DescriptionSentry #1 page 5 from 2000 as part of the Marvel Knights line. Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee rediscovered Marvel's long forgotten 1st superhero of the Silver Age created by Stan Lee and Artie Rosen! The top panel was by Artie Rosen and used as the variant cover on the stands! Rosen did a take on the Captain America #101 splash or did Kirby homage Artie Rosen? Jae Lee did the modern parts of the page with Bob Reynolds and Normie the Wonder Dog!This is super early in the book (page 5) and the variant cover as well giving you the birth and first clean look at the Sentry, which makes this disputably, the best page in the issue. With the Thunderbolts* movie coming out, Sentry making his movie debut, and also the actor Lewis Pullman's name is amongst the chairs of the Avengers Doomsday cast, this is the deal of the Sentry! You got first appearances for Sony characters like Black Cat and Spider-Woman going for big bucks and they only make Madame Web and Morbius level films, so Let's Go Thunderbolts*! *P.S. if the movie bombs, no refunds* Social/Sharing |

Your logic and reasoning is only eclipsed by your pulse for the market pricing and demand for such historic fine artworks. I understand that if the movie bombs there are no refunds. But if the movie is a huge success, the new owner will be partying with Kevin Fiege in a helicopter, sharing champagne toasts with Florence Pugh. So how could you not pull the trigger on this once in a lifetime opportunity!!??

Sentry, Sentry, flying high,
Soaring through the sky
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?

I don't normally comment on pages for sale, but this is so good I have to make an exception.

Open to time payments? $5 a day every day and $1500 every February 29th. This really is a fantastic page though.

He is Lord Havoc's father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate.

WOW! What a great (and above all) HISTORIC page (cheaply) turned cover !
Would you kindly accept ten (yearly?) monthly instalments of 23.8k by any chance?
(A bold statement-thank you ;)
(I hope for you that movie directors are closely watching CAF? Or trust/ hedge funds?)

Great page and 1st appearance! Very cool how that first panel was used as a variant cover. I'm really excited to see the intro & treatment of the Sentry in the upcoming Thunderbolts movie. You can tell it's going to be a really good movie cuz YouTubers are having trouble finding things to hate about it. And some pre-reviews are actually positive! Go figure! Anyway, fantastic (four) pick-up!

This sold at HA two weeks ago for 1500. These attempted flips are getting out of hand...

We can all dream of doing Olympian level flips. Now just have to find me a rich sucker... Marcus has a great sense of humor. I would seriously worry if I thought he was serious.

Hmm...and I always thought Artie Rosen was just a pseudonym for Rick Veitch, and just part of an elaborate marketing hoax back in 1999. LoL.

That only happened in the timeline when Steven Yuen was playing the role of Sentry.

As useless and stupid the invention of this lame character was (even if great writers and artists unsuccessfully tried their best with the "Sentry"), as great is this kirby-esque designed superhero page :) And Jae Lee's original art is always a joy to behold, so: congrats on this one!
