Even without ever having read Why I Hate Saturn, and yes, it has been recommended to me more than once, it’s easy to see why Baker’s work is so highly regarded. The cover immediately stands out with its bold composition and effortlessly cool aesthetic. There’s a sense of attitude and sharp wit in the expressions and design that evokes curiosity about the story inside. Knowing this is considered a modern classic, it’s a real coup that you landed this piece, Kelvin!

A sophiticated look at the world of the early 1990's. Maybe more teal and purple colors if it had come out any later.

Crazy that Baker still had this after all these years. Congrats to you on Jason being the one to dig it out...might have been a lot more painful otherwise! (Also got something from Jason in a similar manner and am just as grateful!)

Prime Baker work. Still great now, of course, but this book on top of his Shadow work knocked my socks off at the time.
