I believe this comes from Martha Kent: And I'm not talking about bending steel in his bare hands or how many times he's saved the world, the universe, and us all.... As Superman drops by the Kent farm ...or even that punchy prose style that's made him the most sought- after reporter in Metropolis or anywhere for that matter... As Superman enter the Kent household Super Clark (mostly Clark, but still Superman): HELLO? Ma? Pa? Martha Kent: In the dining room, Clark-- and we've got COMPANY! No, the plain, simple truth is that ben Hubbard's boy can get appointed to the Supreme Court for all I care... ...he doesn't come home to visit his folks anymore. Too busy to write. Too busy to pick up the phone. I can never appreciate enough that Clark still takes the time to drop by-- WISK as plain old Clark Kent enters the room, wouldn't want to give away the secret!
