Description

Lex Luthor is the root of the problem, everything is related.

Superman comes to save J'onn Jones, a.k.a. Martian Manhunter from the impending threat of DOOMSDAY. In true Superman style, he comes in with a WHOOSH and screams: OUT!
At the same moment, Lex Luthor continues his speech: I call upon the business leaders of the country to step forward and donate what they can.

Doomsday goes flying, and gives Superman some time to talk to Manhunter.
Superman cradles his fallen friend: Easy, J'onn.
Manhunter, very weak from the beating taken: I've...I've been inside his head.
Somehow, he knows that it was LUTHOR who sent him after IMPERIEX, thus getting him killed.
Superman: Then he understands what's happened to him. The PAIN.
Manhunter: Yes...and...he's LEARNING
Superman has had enough, he's determined and this is the end of the line: Good. I plan to teach him a lesson.
