Description

Brian Li Sung, the tortured boyfriend of Christine Spaar, is my favorite Grendel. His story is The Devil Inside, written by Matt Wagner. (If I remember correctly, this chapter is titled Be the Devil).

Unlike the previous hosts, Brian realizes that he is possessed. In this page, Grendel seeks to kill its old enemy Wiggins. Brian seeks to thwart its plan. In the subsequent pages, Grendel�s arrow misses Wiggins, who then shoots and kills Brian.

Purchased through Ebay in 2019.

Great page! Love this three issue storyline. Mireault's art was perfect for this arc.
