DescriptionSo posting this after Thanksgiving 2023 as a reminder of things to be thankful for. Perusing my gallery I'm sure you recognize that I am a big Planet Hulk fan (as you probably are looking at this) and a Carlo fan as well. I am even more a fan of the Planet Hulk 105 issue. As I have written elsewhere I just thought everything came together on that issue. The writing, Carlo's pencils, Huet's inks. Just a wonderful bit of visual storytelling. I have never put together a full issue, but in talking with fellow CAFer T Shen, I think I want to try with this issue. That's going to be impossible since I know some pieces are never going to leave their homes but that's ok. I still want to collect what I can. This piece came about as I realized both myself and T had Planet Hulk pages the other wanted and it made a good bit of sense to just trade them. So an enormous amount of thanks goes out to him (go look at his gallery) for not only trading with me and helping me fill in this particular gap I had in my run of 105 page, but also his friendship and trust. If you have a Hulk 105 page that you think you might be willing to part with, please reach out. I'd love to get as many as I can in one home. Social/Sharing |

Thanks, Stephen. If only I could convince the person that has pg 14 to give that up so I have a nice little run of pages here ;)

Such an awesome page and powerful end to the Planet Hulk storyline. This was a gut-wrenching decision but thrilled it's in your collection and one of best possible scenarios. Can't have them all, right? Hah. Appreciate the kind words, Anthony and the sentiment is reciprocated!

Gorgeous art from Planet Hulk #105 by Carlo Pagulayan! The whole page is composed and drawn beautifully. Carlo's pencils are nicely enhanced by the superb inks of Jeffrey Huet. Great pick-up, congrats!

Great page. You hit the nail on the head with the issue. Everything came together perfectly. I wish I would have held on to the pages I let go, including the one you have but I feel fortunate to be the caretaker of the DPS from this issue. I can't believe it has been 17 years since the book came out.

It is crazy it has been that long (And I guess I didn't even realize that until reading your comment). I am glad the pages that are out there are in very good hands (As far as the ones I know about like your DPS).

I wish I would have thought to try and get the entire issue but it didn't even occur to me at the time. I probably could have done it minus the page that JoeFixit secured as we were talking to the rep around the same time.

Man oh man, this page, this sequence broke my heart. Hulk FINALLY!! finds some measure of happiness, frees his new world from the yoke of tyranny, starts a family, only to have them wiped from existence before his very eyes.
"GIVE THEM BACK!! GIVE THEM BACK!!"
One of my favourite pages in all of Hulk history. Delighted to see it's found a good home.
