Description

This was a 2005 purchase from an Indiana comic book store that had a small collection of odds-and-ends comic art on their website. There is a lot to like about this page: Brain Drain (aka Werner Schmidt) remains my all-time favorite Invaders foe; the action and dialog in the bottom three panels is top notch; and we get the Thing belting out his classic "clobberin' time" battle cry.

Yes - you have to love a "clobberin' time" page! I really like Grainger's inks here, and was so excited to see a Liberty Legion crossover when this came out. Great Sal action - great page!
