This 'hanken cell' is by the character designer of one of my favourite Japanese robot anime series, Daitarn 3. Big size. This is used as cover for promotional adv and merchandaising.

This is a sweet image. Love the color and the era of anime. Never seen the show - but funny enough I have pencil case with this robot and characters. Now I know what I need to look for to try and watch it!

Thank you Duke. Daitarn 3 is a Japanese animated series that had a great success in Italy. One of the most loved and certainly my favorite. It has lighter tones than other Japanese robot series, takes itself less seriously and is a lot of fun with great main characters.
