Description

This is truly something special. This commission is from Max Fiumara who I became a fan of once reading "Black Gas." I was disappointed when Max told me that he didn't have any pages of Black Gas to sell, but excited when he told me that he would do commissions.

My excitement was obviously justified. I asked Max to capture the instant after Captain Dalla's attack in the original Alien movie. You remember right? It's the scene with Captain Dallas in the dark corridor trying to trap the Alien, only Dallas becomes trapped and hunted. His crew looks on in horror as the Alien gets closer and eventually the audience gets the "shock" moment when Dallas flashes the flashlight in the creatures face and the screen goes blank. This commission captures that moment when the screen goes blank perfectly!

I honestly can't thank Max enough for this brilliant commission, I think everyone will agree that it looks stunning. Max is also doing the art for the on-going series Four Eyes if anyone else wants to check out his style. Thanks again Max and Martin for arranging and doing this commission for me. Enjoy all.

This is one UNBELIEVABLE commission. I cannot take my eyes off the perfect combination of darkness and light that Max manages to capture in this work. Congratulations!
