Description

Teen Titans 44 was my first issue of the series and introduction to most of the characters. My parents bought it for me from the spinner rack at Eckerd�s Drugs.

I can�t really say that I collected the book as it was published but I tried. I always had a particular love for this issue-where Dr. Light captures the Titans to gain access to the JLA satellite but leaves Mal behind because he does not perceive him as a threat.

I have been a Mal fan since I read this story. Speedy was a character that I didn�t like very much at first but eventually became one of my favorites.

I have never seen a page from issue 44 until Heritage listed some in August 2023. I am very glad to have obtained this one-where Dr. Light defeats and captures Speedy. Mal tried but fails to stop him.
